The Embassy theatre is situated on Grand Parade right at the heart of the seafront attractions of Skegness.

There is a pay and display car park at the rear of the theatre with an overflow car park nearby for particularly busy performances. The theatre is within walking distance of the majority of hotels in the area – coach and train stations are also just a short walk through the Town centre.

There is a bus stop directly in front of the theatre serviced regularly throughout the evening; next to this there is also a licensed taxi rank who operate day and night.

Drinks and Refreshments
The theatre bar is open an hour prior to each performance and can be accessed on a flat level by entry from the car park or through the main entrance and down the stairs towards the auditorium.

Why not enjoy a drink in pleasant surroundings, with a friendly atmosphere.

A popular range of wine, spirits, extra cold draught and bottled beverages are sold alongside hot and soft drinks. Chilled champagne is also available for that extra special occasion! For those of you with a sweet tooth, chocolate, sweets and Pringles are also available.

Our interval drinks order service will save you precious time when visiting the bar – simply make you order before the show and you will find your drinks freshly poured and waiting for you.

Ice creams are available from the Circle bar and within the auditorium. When planning a large group outing why not pre-order your ice-creams when booking your tickets, these will be delivered to your seats during the interval – especially useful during busy performances!

Please note that, for your comfort and safety, (unless otherwise stated) glasses and/or alcohol are not permitted within the auditorium.


Merchandise
Many productions now tour with merchandise, which will be available next to The Theatre Bar prior to the performance during the interval and post performance – Programmes, when available, are also sold in the main foyer and by our volunteers through the auditorium.

Signing
On occasion the Theatre bar will remain open following the performance for the artiste to meet /greet and share a drink with the audience often performing signings at the merchandise stall – please note this is at sole discretion of the artiste – no guarantee is made by The Theatre.

Seating
Ushers will direct you to your seat. Listen for the 3-minute “show-call” so that you are seated in time. Latecomers may be required to wait until a suitable “break” before entering.

Toilets
We have well-signposted ladies and gents toilets on all levels of the theatre building. Easy access disabled toilets can be found in the lower foyer.

Cloakroom
There is an unattended cloakroom rail next to the theatre bar . This is purely for coats; bags must not be left here. All items are left at the owner's own risk.

Lift
There is a lift to all levels of the auditorium – for fire safety wheelchair positions are not permitted in the circle.

Baby Changing
We have baby changing facilities in our disabled toilet in the lower foyer.

First Aid
A number of our staff on duty are trained in first aid. Should you require emergency assistance please gain the attention of a member of staff immediately.

Polite Notice - Unless Otherwise Stated
1. Flash photography or videoing during a performance is forbidden and offenders may be removed
2. Alcohol is not permitted within the auditorium
3. Only refreshments purchased on the premises may be consumed on site
4. We reserve the right to refuse entry/remove from premises, without refund any audience member who appears intoxicated/ behaves in a disruptive manner or causes distress to other patrons.
